Fathers Day Plants
Father's Day is the first Sunday in September, and we don't deliver on Sundays. Saturday is the delivery day, and the cutoff for same-day on a Saturday is 10am rather than the usual 12pm. Getting it there a day early is no bad thing: it's in the house and out of the boot by the time Sunday morning happens.
Aim at a specific spot. A desk, a study, a home office or the corner of a garage that's been reclassified as a workshop all suit a compact plant that tolerates lower light and doesn't mind being ignored for a week. If he's the sort to take an interest, something with visible new growth gives him a reason to keep checking on it.
Office corners are the worst light in the house and the easiest place to put a plant that copes with it. Look for glossy, upright foliage that holds its shape without a window nearby. It'll survive the working week, which is more than can be said for anything that needs full sun on a windowsill he doesn't have.
A pot from our indoor plant pots range finishes it off, and a greeting card on the product page lets you write the line yourself. The rest of our range is in plant gifts if you're sending to more than one household. Order before 12pm on a weekday, or before 10am on Saturday, for same-day delivery across the suburbs we cover.
